Candela C-8 performance figures

I wanted to record the consumption of my boat at different speeds with different foil configurations for a long time. Today I finally took the time, and here is the result. I only took one sample per data point, so there can be inaccuracies. But you get the picture anyway.

Even before ordering the boat, I wondered about these values. There were some isolated values mentioned in the videos, but I was wondering about the rest as well.

And then I saw a comment on a youtube video, where somebody wondered what the turning radius is, while foiling. So I took the boat out on the lake, and drove it through some full circles. Like with the eFoil, the lower the speed, the smaller the radius. When I turn tighter, the boat banks more, and at some point it slows down. When it gets too slow, the hull can touch the hull, causing friction that slows down further, forcing the boat to perform an emergency landing. This usually happens around 15 knots and can be quite unconfortable, as the boat banks to the outside of the courve for a moment. Knowing this, I slowed down very carefully, trying to find the configuration with the tightest turn radius. As you can see in the image of the GPS track, the diameter is about 100m.

After that, I accelerated to the max, and turned as tight as I could without loosing speed. As you can see in the following image, the diameter at max speed is about 200m.
